About TypeRight
TypeRight is a free typing tutor that runs in your browser. It gives you a few letters at a time and adds new ones once you are comfortable, so there is nothing to memorise and nothing to decide.
It was built for one reader in particular: someone learning to type Nepali properly, in Devanagari, without having to sit through an English typing course first. English is here too, on QWERTY, and each language keeps its own lessons and its own progress.
The lessons are generated rather than copied out of a book. The letters you are slowest on come round more often, and a new letter is added only once you can type the ones you already have quickly and accurately. That is why no two sessions are the same.
It is free, and free of the usual strings: no accounts, no adverts, nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for. Your practice never leaves your browser.
It is not finished, and does not pretend to be. If something is wrong or missing, say so - the Contact page is one box and a Send button.
